The Osika Farm celebrates a strong five-generation history. In 1914, Kataryna and Kazimierz Osika, a young Polish immigrant couple, decided to try out farming in the Hudson Valley. The couple settled on an 80-acre farm in Hyde Park and went on to raise a family of seven.
The Osika family’s history coincides with many significant local milestones. Over the decades, the farm remained operational as a dairy farm and passed through multiple owners. Eventually, Chris Osaka, grandson of Kataryna and Kazimierz, purchased back the majority of the original farm property.
Today, the original farm remains fully operational, raising grass-fed Angus beef cattle.
